An individual work or series of works documenting time-based events, happenings, performances and site-specific installations (Visual Arts Stage 6 Syllabus).
In 2019, students submitting a Body of Work in this expressive form revealed multi-modes of documentation within submissions, through photography, time-based forms, books and found objects. The inclusion of sculptural forms including freestanding, frontal and relief works, assemblages, hanging works and installations, enabled references to social and political issues/culture/the ‘self’ and the environment. The documentation of performance and references to the ephemeral led to an engagement with contemporary practice and emerging technologies to document concepts.
